POMEM project unites participants, partner organizations and participating communities for sustainable growth and ensuring equity, prosperity and social inclusion in Europe and beyond through musical performances. In order to specify needs of target youth group.
Our strategic project partnership holds the solidarity power of music values to empower youth workers in social inclusion of migrants with following objectives:
• to improve knowledge, skills and competences of young migrants in music and provide guidance in learning of most important practical basics of different musical values for creating solidarity in local communities,
• to perform concerts with young migrants to engage, empower and connect with society
• to develop an understanding of hate speech and xenophobia particularly in the context of cultural diversity, discrimination, intolerance, freedom of expression and human rights
• to form up choirs consists from young migrants in each participating country to spread tolerance in EU.
12 music experts, 12 trainers, 10 local stakeholders, 90 young people with migrant and refugee background will involve project activities to conduct project achievements. Concrete result of the project is 4 video clip album performed by choirs to promote tolerance and inclusive societies
